 | IC INFORMATION. CHARACTER: Jesper Llewellyn Fahey SERIES: Six of Crows AGE: 21 (ish?) HEIGHT/STATURE: 6'3" WEIGHT/BUILD: ~170lbs, he's lean and lanky as hell RELATIONSHIP STATUS: DTFlirt and make poor decisions ORIGIN: Born in Novyi Zem, lives in Ketterdam LANGUAGE: Speaks fluent Zemeni and Kerch, and some Kaelish NOTABLE FEATURES: While Six of Crows takes place in Ketterdam, Jesper is from Novyi Zem. His dark skin and height are common Zemeni features. He inherited his grey eyes from his father, who is Kaelish and came to Novyi Zem from the Wandering Isles. (Jesper is half-Irish, in other words.) He is not only tall, but lean and long-limbed and carries himself a bit like a bird, casting those limbs out in broad gestures and big movements. His smiles are infectious and he lives for thrills, so he is often at his most calm in times of danger. Otherwise he tends to fidget and get ansty on his downtime, and when he's not gambling. He cradles his guns a bit like one would hold a security blanket. Because that's not weird. Really, Jesper is still a guy in a gang, he's got the signature crow and cup tattoo on his forearm but otherwise he's a brawler but not bruiser. (VERY) BRIEF PERSONALITY: Jesper is witty and charming, but careless and thrill-seeking, too. He is extremely loyal and actually values his friends above everything. It's just hard when the itch to get moving and gamble or do something dangerous is so present. Because of this, he doesn't often think things through. It's very possible that this "itch" he feels is due to him being a Grisha: where most Grisha feel weak and depleted if they don't use their powers, Jesper's abilities manifest in a constant need to get moving. He's working on trying to control his compulsions since they got his friends in trouble in Six of Crows, but it's slow going. |
| IC PERMISSIONS. PHYSICAL AFFECTION: Jesper loves contact and physical affection, so feel free! ROMANCE: Jesper flirts easily and crushes hard, but is also not great when it comes to commitment. In canon he has a crush on Kaz (who will never reciprocate) and Wylan (who does,) but he'll flirt with anyone willing, so feel free to flirt right back. He's not big on romantic gestures and will in fact more likely tease the people he's closest to. Well, except for Kaz, but Kaz is his boss. SEX: Jesper's enjoys sex and casual flings. The only thing more fun than sex to him is danger. PHYSICAL VIOLENCE: Jesper is a gangster lbr he is always down for violence and I am always down for him getting into violent situations. Just let me know if you want to talk any serious injuries. TELEPATHY: Totally feel free and hit me up if you want to know what a mess Jesper's head is. TRIGGERS: No real triggers, though Jesper reacts particularly poorly to being called a traitor due to a fuckup on his part. He's also got issues with persecution of people based on their abilities because he's been low-key running from that for most of his life. OTHER NOTES: Jesper has a very real gambling problem, if you feel I am misrepresenting it in any way that is offensive, feel free to hit me up with some crit. |
